Let’s continue smart growth, resist threats to our quality of life

Reader and Davidson Planning Board member John Kennedy offers his thoughts on the proposed Narrow Passage development in east Davidson. He says the town is "an example of how to manage growth when there is extensive pressure to develop and grow. [One current textbook] cites Davidson’s strategy ... and community and political will to sustain Davidson’s values, character, and quality of life. ... Davidsonians – not forces outside the community – decide what their community will become."
